As part of the campaign to launch Playstation’s new game ‘Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart”, we were brought on board to create video content with YouTube, TikTok and gaming influencers that brought to life some of the key features of the game.
The hero piece of content for this launch involved working with YouTubers Jaxon and Lachlan Fairbairn of Fairbairn films. With a brief to bring in elements from the game such as the Rifts and weapons, we ideated a piece of content that played on their classic scripting and humour while delivering on the objectives from the client. VFX played a big part in this piece of content, really bringing the elements, and the game, to life.
In addition, supplementary videos were created with gaming, cosplay and TikTok influencers to ensure the campaign was spread far and wide. We created three short-form Instagram videos with footage supplied by the influencers, bringing in the rifting element to demonstrate how it works within the game - taking you to different worlds.
