Jan 26 is no day to celebrate. For First Nations people and many non-Indigenous Australians, like us, it is a day of mourning. Jan 26 is a day to listen to, learn from, make space for and amplify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices. It is only through this that we can heal as a nation (made of many) and build a country we can all be proud of.

What a pleasure it was to play a small part in The Queens Feast at Sydney Town Hall for Sydney Solstice!
On Friday, we officially launched Sure Studios in the only way we know how - with a party on our rooftop! What started as a sophisticated* soiree, featuring a Jazz Band and canapés, evolved with the night, seeing the place turn into a dance floor thanks to the likes of Mickey Kojak and friends hitting the decks.
Sure Studios stands on Gadigal Land. We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Country we work on today. We recognise their continuing connection to the land, waters and culture. We thank them for protecting this coastline and its ecosystems since time immemorial and acknowledge that they have never ceded sovereignty. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people.
